Went here for a bright colour, on recommendation. The stylist did not give me the colour I wanted, and it washed out in one cold water wash. I’ve had brightly coloured hair for years, and know how to care for it. This should never happen. Went from red to a patchy brown in one wash. Had to go to someone else to get it fixed. It is way overpriced and they rush you in and out. Never go here.

I went to aura cause was excited to get a trim after so long. I said I just wanted 1.5 inches off (to clean up the ends) I also suggested a long bang and i usually get face framing layers.......Wow this was THE WORST cut I've ever had. I was crying when i realized after getting home. Cut was choppy and uneven. I think she used my bang as a guide, not sure, I'm not a hairstylist. But my shortest layer was way too short. Every morning when i look in the mirror, i cry. Im in shock at how short those pieces are and i can't believe i thought my hair was in the hands of a professional stylist!!!I had to go somewhere else to have the layers textured and made more even. but there was only so much she could do. as my hair has thick chopped pieces that can't be blended in at all! I have to twist my hair up or wear a hat now for a while. What a great way to start the summer right! I am pissed. I never complain or write bad reviews but I just had to cause I still am in major shock. I had a bad experience many years ago at the aura in garden city mall and I've never returned to aura until this time. Now i will never recommend this salon or go again. I cringe every time i walk by this aura in the mall. This was on Friday May 22 i think(time of appointment) I even gave a tip!
