I had an awful experience when I entered Danier Store in this Winnipeg Outlet Mall yesterday October 31, 2020. As soon as I entered the store before 2pm , I politely say hi to the 2 associates inside as I proceeded to the hooded fur jackets at the back wall which caught my eye attention from the hallway. As I started checking on the style and sizes available from the display, the rude and arrogant male associate who was wearing brown leathered jacket asked me if I’m checking on the sizes, I replied instead oh, I’m looking around first. I felt he didn’t like my reply, the guy started angrily tapping, shaking and pulling and pushing the hanged black jackets I touched just seriously in front of me. A bit shocked, just left the store speechless though I felt humiliated. Past 2pm, I decided to come back, however the said rude associate was not around so I decided to speak with the female associate what happened earlier and about the inappropriate act of her fellow associate as it was my 1st time to enter Danier Store again after the St. James branch closed shop several years which I was a frequent Customer. It is not my intention here to disciplined or to fire out that guy but simply saying not to that bad and humiliating action to other potential Customer. The Store Manager could review the disgusting employee behaviour if there is a surveillance camera inside. Was it because of my skin ( Asian) why was I treated like that?
