Most of the staffs working at this branch are completely incompetent to provide banking services to their customers. Dissatisfaction happened at several instances. The following two were significant. 1. A teller staff completely failed to provide me info regarding my RRSP contributions during the tax filing time. I explained to him the same thing again and again - he was unable to understand a simple thing -- instead he spoke to his supervisor, and she (supervisor) printed for me >10 pages of documents to show me the contributions! Come on! I can see them in my online banking. What I wanted to know was just "(tentatively) when would I receive the RRSP contribution receipts from CIBC for tax filing?". They took approx. 30 min time to find out an answer! 2. I wanted to cancel my mortgage insurance, and I went to that branch walk-in as I was unable to book an appointment prior. Usually, the cancellation takes not more than 10 min. I went there at 3:20 pm, and they close at 5:00 pm. I told the teller if I could see a financial service representative (FSR) for just 10 min, and I don't mind to wait to see someone. She just checked one of the FSR's room, and came back saying that no one can find 10 min for me. Note that I didn't find the branch busy at all at that time, and most of the days its seems to be the same. I was surprised. I quickly drove down to the Pembina branch, which was very busy with clients waiting in queue and on chairs at the waiting areas. A lady asked me if I need any help. I told her the situation that I need just 10 min to cancel my mortgage insurance, and I'm unable to find any time in next 7 days, as I would be working straight on those days. She quickly checked with Jason (FSR), and he welcomed me, and took care of my issue in <10 min. Smart guy, Jason, Thanks! Kenaston branch staffs are just incompetent a**holes!
