While the selection is good, the staff can be surly and rude. A request for a small bottle brown paper bag over an expensive purchase was met with rudeness and lack of any professional conduct for an individual employed by the BC Liquor Store in Broadmead. Also, don't ask for an empty wine box unless you're prepared for a tirade of the "no more available to the pubic" so don't ask again.
