I've gone there a few times now because the owner Is there and always very helpful and kind.

I was in the store yesterday buying some dog treats. Whilst waiting to pay the associate was looking through some index cards trying to find a card for another customer. He was not wearing his mask, and I observed him several times licking his finger in order to separate the cards. When it came time to ring me through, he did put his mask back on. I asked him if he would mind using hand sanitizer before he touched my purchases, as I had noticed him licking his finger. He did (rather reluctantly) use sanitizer, and was quite pleasant in the way he conveyed it, but the message I got was that as a retailer he could do things at his own discretion, and if I did not feel comfortable shopping in his store I had the choice to go elsewhere. Don't think I will go back in a hurry.
