lack of sale items and no rain checks | by Randy Wagner on Nov 14, 2021
I have noticed a gradual decrease in service and availability of sale items. Some of the staff, not all, are becoming jaded and perhaps need to consider retiring or changing careers. I was told that a rain check could not be issued anymore but shopping on line would get me the product (oil) at the sale price. This was not correct. Lots of product available in Vernon, Kelowna, Kamloops but not in Salmon Arm. I know there are supply issues but
sale item no stock | by VIC HARGITT on Oct 18, 2021
I went to your store to purchase a pair of shoes that you had advertised in you flyer. The flyer came out on Friday and I went in on Sunday. None left. In fact I was told you had only received one pair. The same type of thing happened last Christmas when we came to buy a small kids powered car for our granddaughter that you had advertised. None in stock and never had had any in stock.

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE | by Louise Lawrence on Jun 24, 2021
I bought 5 Calla Lilies at the garden centre. The tag showed WHITE. I planted & a week later noticed they were YELLOW! I called CT & explained my situation & was told someone would be getting back to me. A week later nothing so I went all the way in. (I live out of town) I spoke with a staff who passed me to her manager who went in the store & spoke to a superior. They want me to dig up, put in original containers and bring in receipt.
An amazing employee | by Willy rawsthorne on Feb 10, 2021
I find shopping at the Canadian tire is not always a super good time. Today I couldn’t get what I wanted at the Vernon store and found that Salmon Arm had one. I bought one on line and then drove to SA to pick it up. I have to say the young lady at the customer service counter’s service was beyond amazing! She went over and above what she had to do! I very seldom write about the service I get but just had to make sure someone knows that I was sure impressed! Not totally sure of her name but I think it may be Candy. I really hope you have some sort of recognition program !
Awesome store | by Maggie on Feb 09, 2021

Covid-19 | by Dave on Sep 25, 2020
I am 71yrs. old and understand that your store is aware of the precautions advised to prevent the spread of this virus. I have shopped at Canadian Tire for many years, almost weekly. In my last 2 visits to your store I found the other shoppers to be very aware of Covid-19 prevention protocols, BUT the floor staff NOT. Today, for example, I was in your store (wearing a face mask which protects your staff and other shoppers), when a man walking quickly behind, overtaking and then passing me within 1 foot. He was not wearing a face mask (to protect me) and certainly was showing me , as a customer or a person, no respect. Being 71 yrs. old, and my wife (over age 65) and her mother (over age 90) all at a high risk of dying if we were to become infected. For your employees to not respect your store’s customer’s during these times safety is not acceptable. I am sure that you are not looking forward to another store “lockdown “. Customers may just stop coming to your store in any case if they don’t feel respected or safe.
Why no masks | by Jane on Sep 11, 2020
Again today we noticed your floor staff did not wear masks. Why not?!
