Do not go to this store! They are profiting off of a pandemic with fake products. | by Kie on Aug 08, 2020
Do not go to this store! They are profiting off of a pandemic with fake products. My experience at this store was really poor due to the products being sold as well as how the workers treated us as clients. The store also boasts a product that can help reduce the risk of coronavirus as well as its prevention, though that is completely not the case. I, as the consumer, have purchased the clip unknowingly of its false advertisement after a worker recommended the product to help reduce the risk of coronavirus and helps you disinfect everything within you of a 2m radius. The object can be clipped on your clothes and can “sanitize” you. The object is called Virus Down. Please be wary of it and steer away from it at all costs. As soon as I purchased this gimmick, I did some research. I have found that many articles and headlines claimed that this product is fake and future customers should be wary of this. Once we went back to the store to ask the staff of its validity and for a refund, the lady in the front exclaims that all the articles that are slandering it are fake and that their product is real. She then goes on to claim that many customers before hand have asked for its legitimacy and that Japan themselves were using it for war (which absolutely made no sense) and how the soldiers there were even wearing it. Despite the objections we had and the articles we’ve shown them, the shop owners claimed that Western news articles are lying about it because they don’t understand the product. Virus Down also has been banned in several places in Asia yet they continue to boast that many are using it in Japan. To add onto the complaints of this product, the object had also many dirty stains despite being a new product fresh out of the seal, with the stupid plastic thing having scratches and many knicks on the back. This store is selling and promoting false advertisement in the middle of a fucking pandemic and trying to profit off of such a terrible thing. The product I bought was cheap, fake, and the customer service was absolutely trash, with the lady coming off as hostile and ignorant, trying to seem as if we were slandering her store. According to her claims, if there were many customers coming back to complain that the object was fake, why would the store intend to keep selling it if articles continue to prove it’s wrong, even with the Japanese government declaring that the product was in fact fake? The plastic on the Virus Down is cheap, flimsy and dirty, which makes me question the validity of the other products that the store boasts to sell, if they’re willing to stoop so low to sell cheap, fake products to their customers. We definitely won’t be coming back to this store. Please steer away from this store and do some research before you intend to buy any gimmick involving helping prevent the virus. Articles can be found once you google "Virus down product"
