I came in to the store on Dec 19th to pick out a couple outfits for a boudoir shoot the next day. Long story short I was trying on a couple outfits and had left some outside the room. The staff was extremely rude when i had asked where my other outfits had gone and responded by telling me that I was only allowed to try on 4 a day due to covid. Sure that's fine but I had already tried on more then that as I didn't know. The worker responded by telling me the rest is at the front if I wanted to look at it again. I proceeded to get changed and when I came out was met by two security guards and one of the staff. The staff member said "so I think you know what's going on here" confused I had no idea why they were there. She went on saying that there was five outfits I had and one was missing and continues to motion to something sticking out of my pocket. I reach down and pulled my winter toque out of my pocket and asked if this is what she's talking about. She then just brushed it off and said she doesn't know where the panties are but knew that I had them. Feeling embarrassed for being accused of stealing and other customers around I offered for them to search me and my bag to prove that I hadn't taken anything. I was told that a search wasn't an option and that i had to leave the store. When i asked who the manager was she told me she was, which was shocking because of how unprofessional she was in dealing with this sort of situation. The entire situation was unnecessary and handled really poorly. If they thought that something was stolen they could of just asked and checked to see that in fact I hadn't taken anything and avoided embarrassing me and turning what was a fun day shopping into a really bad experience. Maybe in the future managers should be given proper training on how to handle delicate situations such as this one.
