I was in the store on Carnarvon street in New Westminster, looking to upgrade my old phone. I have been a freedom mobile customer for around 4yrs now and always spoke highly of this company until now. I was in the store recently, just a little over a month ago to upgrade my mobile phone. I was offered a free tablet with this new deal. The sales agent named Rory, told me that it would cost me nothing extra per month for this tablet. The only thing I would have to pay for, for this tablet was $30 and that was it!....NOTHING MORE PER MONTH. I asked him numerous times, if there was any tab fee or monthly fees for it? His reply...."No, absolutely nothing, except for the one time fee of $30, that was it!" So, I thought it was a great deal and said ok, I'll buy it. I totally trusted this sales person and he took advantage of that. I have been going through so much stress with working in the health care industry and my mom not being well, having been diagnosed with cancer and then there are people like this, who take advantage of honest people. A month later and I receive my phone bill and I find out that I am being charged for this tablet for the next 24 months?! As soon as my contract is over, I will go with another phone company. I do not want to do business with them ever again. I will also, let my friends, family and everyone looking for a new phone company know what they're like. I will never trust this company again!!!!
