I was surprised suddenly by the their stance on No Longer Accepting a First Nations Valid Certificate of Indian Status cards as I.D. Whereas " Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) has been advised that U.S. border officials will accept any version of the Secure Certificate of Indian Status and any version of the Certificate of Indian Status, if still valid, to cross the Canada–U.S. border at both land and marine ports of entry" Do tell why is our Certificate of Indian Status Cards no longer being accepted as Valid I.D at the store in Metrotown, where it is accepted as a valid piece of I.D, lets say everywhere else?
