Purchased a halibut fillet without smelling it and refrigerated it upon returning home. Next day unpackaged it and no amount of rinsing with cold water would get rid of the smelly odour We decided to forego using it for a meal. As being a chef myself I have handled fresh halibut myself and mistakenly assumed that their claim of fresh was legit. I have kept it refrigerated with the receipt and will attempt to return it Monday.
