I purchased two toys for $14.99 each as a Christmas gift for my daughter and then found the exact same toys at Walmart for $3.99 each! I had the original receipt in the bag along with toys that were to be a Christmas gift and brought them in store to return. This is when the employee informed me that it was final sale. I had no way to know that the toys were final sale. There is nothing to show this on the sign in front of the product. The employee did not inform me of that at the point of sale. When I did make the purchase, the employee put my purchase along with my receipt in the bag. When I saw the significant price difference at Wal-Mart I brought them back. It was not until the employee pointed it out on the receipt that it notes it is a Final Sale. It is printed in the same font and colour as all the other information on the receipt so it does not stand out at all. This is all extremely deceptive. I reached out to customer service online and they responded was “ That's correct that products in our store are final sale. We do post this information at our cash register, and on our receipts, in the event that an employee isn't able to fully communicate it at the time of sale. Thank you” So as a first time customer I will NOT be returning except to take a look at the information that they post by the register that I’m am not convinced will stand out either. I don’t believe it should be the customer’s responsibility to read every sign posted in the store to ensure they’re not being taken advantage of!
