My 80 year old grandfather was asked by an employee on June 1 2020 if he knew how to read as he was heading down an aisle the wrong way due to the COVID signage. Totally an error on his part, however he was just recently widowed and was likely distraught. He could have benefited from a gentle reminder instead of the despicable comment the employee made. He was completely ashamed and left the store without buying his groceries. It is absolutely abhorrent to treat our senior citizens with such disregard and mockery. My dad is still waiting on a call back from management - after he had called and asked to speak to management and was literally laughed at while asked for which department. Such a disappointment, especially with the added hardships our vulnerable population face due to the pandemic.
