This is the first store I went to on my journey for a wedding dress. I am a comfortable size 12 - estimated a size 14 or 16 for wedding dresses. WHICH I DID NOT TELL THE STORE ON THE PHONE AT THE TIME OF MY BOOKING. I arrived to my appointment to see a small store FULL of gorgeous, elegant dresses. I was in LOVE with many of them - went through with the consultant and found quite a few that I wanted to try on, none of which were available in a size larger than a ten. The consultant talked me into trying to squeeze my ass into these tiny dresses just to see if I could "get an idea of what they would look like". I tried on size 10s... that CLEARLY did not fit.... most didn't go over my hips. over and over, I was let down by being shoved into these gorgeous dresses that I was just too big for. towards the end of the appointment, she resorted to finding ANY dress that was in my size in the store and came in with 3 dresses that were not what I was looking for. THREE dresses bigger than size 10 in a store with HUNDREDS of dresses. When I left to go to my next appointment, I let her know I was disappointed (and what an awful way to start my dress shopping day) and she replied "well unfortunately we just dont usually carry dresses that big. Did you mention it on the phone when you made the appointment?" .. I said no. That I thought a size 12 street size wouldn't need to a warning attached to it..I didn't figure I'd have to give them a heads up that I was a pretty NORMAL size. I will NEVER recommend this store to ANYONE I know, however I did have MUCH better luck at their sister store (The Bridal Boutique). Awful awful awful experience.. If I was able to give ZERO stars, I would.
