I came to Alberta for a business trip and was there for 3 days. On my very last night, I decided to take a trip to the mall as that is what you're told to do when in Edmonton. I came across a very cute Kiosk on my way to the Victoria Secret store, that had really cute sunglasses. As I approached the kiosk to take a closer look, my phone rang. It was my boss and so, not thinking it was an issue, I picked it up right then and there. Shortly after picking up the call, the woman at the kiosk came from her chair, said excuse me and started randomly dusting the area where I was standing. Not thinking too much of it, I continued the conversation. She then began picking up each of the glasses to clean, while staring at my carry on purse. (Mind you, all the glasses were there on display. Not one missing). I put my call on hold and asked if there was an issue. She replied no in a rude manor. But again, did not put too much thought into it. As I was ending my phone call, again with my boss, she came to the other side that happened to be face me and gave me a dirty look and wiped two glasses. She then walked to the area where her chair was and spoke to the lady in the kiosk beside her (The one with hair extensions), the girl looked at me and shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. I then proceeded to ask what the issue was and that it was unfair that she is making me feel any less with her actions for no reason. She proceeded to say that there was not a problem but if I had a call there are other parts of the mall I can go to. I was in shock that I had earlier asked if there was an issue and she said no, but then later stated she didn't like that I was on a call around her shop. I told her I understood and if she had asked me to move I could have but instead she chose to make me feel uncomfortable and as if I was going to steal her glasses. This is not okay and whoever the owner of the kiosk is, needs to have the employees retrained. Hopefully she was not the owner. This was very upsetting and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. After this incident, I just went back to my hotel.
