My daughter needed a wedding dress off the rack & found one that had everything she wanted. We were only in Edmonton for 2 days so the owner made sure alterations were done in time for us to pick it up & take it home the next day. I can’t say enough good things about the outstanding customer service. I only wish we found this amazing store sooner! Highly recommend Tres Chic for the variety of dresses & friendly staff! Thank you for helping to make my daughters wedding day special!

Ordered my dress through this store because they had a sale and a great price. The dress came in and I went for a fitting (this was my first time at this store as I had tried it on in Ontario). When I went to my fitting the store was busy, a number of people spoke with me, and they never used a measuring tape for measuring (they eyeballed it). I should have run then but agreed to have them do alterations and actually called a few days later as I was concerned about the fitting experience but the staff ensured me that they knew what they were doing..... When I went to try it on after the alterations (minor - just the chest brought in as I have no bust) the lace was 1/2 inch higher on one breast then the other and the lace under the armpits did not match (was no longer symmetrical because they brought in one side more then the other). The store made a number of excuses for this and blamed the retailer for the uneven lace at the top of the dress. I heard an number of excuses - "lace is not even", "this is common and most people would not notice"," the alterations are made to your body shape" (am I not symmetrical?)....the list of excuses goes on. Overall they were dishonest throughout the whole experience. They advised they would order me a new dress but they could not confirm that it would come in and time so I was stuck with this one. They brought a "specialist" in who fixed the dress the best he could but obviously he was unable to fix the uneven lace from the uneven alteration. On top of this they continued to blame the manufacturer....were dishonest with the manufacturer in not letting them know the dress was altered....and would not discount the dress. I got a discounted price on the alterations (which should have been more then free because they ruined the lace on the dress). DO NOT GET ALTERATIONS DONE AT THIS LOCATION!!
