my experience at TELUS bonnie doon mall........I am not sure if they are xenophobic , covid-phobic or just plain work-phobic. I practically had to beg for information on the product , they seem to "think" and "guess" a lot , and not "know" I left there with my blood pressure high , Jamie Interrogated me about covid for about 3 mins , and NIck not knowing if he is coming or going , it was like the WWE tag team championship of poor , bad and terrible customer service , it was one of those 2020 moments , you just had to be there because you would'nt believe it if I told you ,even if I paid you ,(Maybe Jamie should be a Immigration officer ) I almost whipped out my passport , if she listened and not only "hear" she would realize that I said that I am going to Ontario , not coming from Ontario ,and I am looking for a good long distance plan for an "elderly person " not a cousin ,and no ,my cousin has not been in and out of the country within the last 14 days Jamie ,and I don't know how long he's been in the country , I don't even have a cousin , yet the first 3 mins is about this fictitious cousin , how would I know If I came in contact with someone with covid recently Jamie ? . I just decided go wait for the interrogation to end , hoping that at the end of this dark cloud , there must be a silver lining with abundance of good information ........well forget that dream , Jamie takes another step back , even though I am masked up , shades on hoody on 4-6 feet away , outside the store , Jamie told me I should know what I want , and to tell her what I need . How about you ask some open ended questions Jamie? , how about you probe , sell me something , ask me some long distance questions or how much minutes i'm looking for ?, etc , are'nt you the sales clerk ? , sell me something ! , Jamie says it does not work that way, I got the feeling she just wants me gone , so I asked to speak to someone else . she was quick enough to get Nick , ( now thinking I would get somewhere) , here is Nick ( basically , Jamie 2.0) , is in need of an attitude adjustment , he does not represent the TELUS brand and what it stands for . Imagine having to practically beg Nick to stop guessing about the products and go to the 'gat dayum' computer for the correct Info . sheesh , he came back with some answers but still unsure , says he has to actually put things into the system to get the correct info , well thats what i'm here for Nick , for the correct info . My good Saturday morning vibe just gone , Nick shows he has this special super power ( like Miss cleo) and has the testicular fortitude to say he " knows what Jamie and I spoke about", from all the way at the back of the store , Nick then starts to talk to me like if i'm his son , being very short with an attitude like a discount bouncer in a cheap bar ; however his girth did not intimidate me, seeing a koodo pamphlet in my hand , Nick said the prices are similar to Koodo , I told him what I think of his attitude and left with disgust . Jamie and Nick should take the TELUS badge off their uniform , They do not represent the TELUS brand in any way, shape or form .never again i'll step in that store , Im not even looking in that direction until Lupe train them , or get them some attitude adjustments .The only reason one star is because I cant give zero and this wont post .If Jamie and Nick don't like their Job , go do something else .I left there with less information than I initially had , It was a blow to my positive outlook for the day ; but soon realized , I should'nt allow two ignorant TELUS employees who are obviously there just to collect a paycheck ,ruin the rest of my day , so Its all good , it seems you pick and choose whom you want to serve with good customer service .I will be taking this to social media and will reach out to channel care management and take this to the highest level possible , this is not the end .
