Ask about refund policies before giving them your money. I bought a skirt that didn't fit right and was refused a refund even though no one told me that was their policy, nor was it on the receipt (handwritten because their computers were down). I got a gift card, but I didn't feel like the owner cared to work with me to resolve the issue, so I left feeling disappointed. :( Being a small, struggling business, they should care more about customer experience. That's not rocket science, right? The owner has zero people skills and probably not a lot of business experience, but I guess we all have room to grow. Cool clothes, though.
