Second last sentence. *wanted me to pay the whole shot and seek reimbursement when my insurer only accepts direct bill.

I've never been treated so rudely and thankfully I went to another store in Camrose where I was treated as a customer should be. Strangely the information I tried to give to the clerks at Walmart who became defensive as if I was telling them their job and "what would I know?" was easily accessed at this store and I didn't have to say a word beyond describing what I'd gone through at your store. They didn't seem to mind making a call at all which your clerks acted as if I was asking for the moon and were highly insulted by that. They were even rude the insurance rep who called them. I wouldn't have felt comfortable, even if the situation had been resolved, returning for any service both because of poor service/horrible attitudes and lack of trust I'd have in their knowledge and experience if these clerks were any representation of what I could expect in future. The eye exam was fine as was the doctor who did it but you need to work on educating your clerks on both procedures and customer service. I did call the store manager and apparently they did end up calling the number I "tried" to them about (provider line) yet I was never in receipt of a return call and in the end they still wanted me to pay the whole shot and submit it to my insurer who does not accept direct bill. Big fail on your part and I'll not hesitate, if asked, to relate this experience to others.
