I bought a handsome stainless-steel watch band (though a bit overpriced at $49) and left it with them to have two links removed because it was too loose on my wrist. I returned several hours later and was told links couldn't be removed from that type of band. So sorry. Well, I came home, found a Youtube video showing how to remove links and in 20 minutes I had it sized just right. The "professionals" at Mark's Jewellers just couldn't be bothered.

Took a small gold pin in for repair as the stick had come off the back. They said they would call when repair complete and after two weeks decided to drop in and check. It was ready, and they charged me over $50 for a quick clumsy sodder in silver ... never again!

Although I've never "purchased" anything here, I've always gone for ring sizing, and watch repairs/battery replacement. Service is always usually same day, and the staff are very friendly and courteous. Work has always been top notch!
