The Core Shopping Centre is the dominant shopping complex in the downtown core of Calgery, Alberta, Canada. The spread of the mall is three city blocks and contains approximately 125 retailers on four levels. The Core is located on 8th Avenue SW between 2nd Street and 4th Street. The holding also includes four major office towers (TD Canada Trust Tower, Home Oil Tower, Dome Tower) and the historic Lancaster Building. It is a hub of Calgery’s skywalk system. The Shopping centre is the busiest shopping centre in the City with around 250 000 visitors passing through each week. The mall is directly connected with complexes of Bankers Hall and Scotia Centre/Hudson’s Bay Store.
Except shops and services there is Devonian Gardens. Devonian Gardens was opened in 1977. There are over 550 tropical palm trees, 18 species, also you can find here children’s playground, meeting room and event spaces and so on. The large of Devonian Garden is around 107 640 square fee.
