The negative reviews don’t fit with my Talbot experiences. I got a friendly hello when I came in. She told me her name and ket me know about the sales. When I had an armful of clothes, another person offered to take them to a dressing room for me. In the dressing room, I was told that if I needed another size then they would get it for me. I haven’t had that service in other stores. One salesperson with long, white hair made great outfits for me!

I don't know why all the negative reviews. I've never had a bad experience at Talbots. Shopping here has always been enjoyable and fun especially after a stress-filled day.

Do not greet customers or let them know about store specials. Furthermore, staff make mistakes that negatively impact the customers and then the staff have the audacity to still be rude to the customers. Staff have a negative attitude and seem to hate their job / clients.

I went to pick up an item on hold, walked around the store 3X checking out things and was greeted by 3 salespersons with smiles. Discovered the wrong item was put on hold and was annoyed. As I was leaving, a 4th salesperson (manager?) told me I wasn't wearing a face mask - right, I was wearing a face shield. She offered me a mask and when I refused one, said I couldn't be in the store without one. No politeness and no explanation e.g., store policy. On the way out, I did find the small sign showing "shield + mask". Second and last time I've been annoyed in this store.

I had another disappointing service experience today at Talbots Market Mall, Calgary. I was the only one in line when I inquired about my $20 discount offer. The salesclerk at the cashier was not helpful and impatient with me. The negative attitude of this salesperson towards me, a senior, was reason enough for me to leave my items and not proceed with the purchase. Such a disappointment!

I had walked into that store so many times is there is this particular sale associate her name is Tatiana. She would only greet caucasians but never asian including customer service. She should not work in a store dealing with public if she only chooses who she wants to greet nor offer customer service. But from other staff I got very good service. I Very upsetting each time I would go to that store to shop she will never greet me or inform me of all the sales in the store. We are still paying customers regardless where we are from.
