RE: Visit at Menchie’s Crowfoot Calgary location on 07/18/20 at 8:30pm. We have been long time customers of Menchie’s and returned for the first time since Covid-19 and the quality of all their products, including the Oreo Frozen Yogurt, the Cookie Dough Frozen Yogurt, the Chocolate Cake Frozen Yogurt, and the Lime Sorbet were all watery and frankly tasted awful! It was unlike the quality we have come to know and expect from Menchie’s and rightly so as the price point of Menchie’s is generally between $15-20 for two people. We took a couple bites and immediately regretted our decision to come in. We tried to discretely talk with the in-store head employee as not to deter other customers to see if the recipes had changed or what was going on. She said the product had probably gone watery because fewer people have come in therefore the machines weren’t being used often which limits their constant movement within the machine. We understood that with Covid protocols in place the ability to sample the product has been removed, however had we sampled any of the flavours we would surely have decided against making a purchase. It was a greatly disappointing trip from the poor quality product to the lack of resolution by the manager. I would be very appreciative to be contacted by Menchie’s Crowfoot head management or Menchie’s Corporate headquarters to see if this can be resolved properly and renew our former appreciation of this establishment.
