Impolite Staff | by Amanda Gomery on Feb 01, 2022
A woman came into complain that a staff member criticized her son on the autism spectrum for running in the store without a mask. The employee agreed with this summary of events and stood by their statement that "all autistic children can wear masks and it's just your parenting". It was incredibly rude and an apology was what was needed. The mom simply advocated for her child. Our personal experience was fine, but this type of behaviour isn't ok.
Awful workers and management. Disgusting policy. Rude. | by Bur on Jan 05, 2022
If I could give no stars I would. My freshly two year old was refused today by one of the young workers at the door because she wasn’t wearing a mask. This store needs to wake up. No 24 month old is going to keep a mask on. Not good for their health and if WHO doesn’t recommend it then why the hell would this company be so ridiculous. Then the manager appears out to say “this will be their one time pass, let them in”. No consistency whatsoever.
Terrible customer service | by Tetchie on Oct 11, 2021
My kids had a really bad experience, they are just at the front of build a bear and looking at it while they are waiting for me and tha “TALL FAT” lady told my kids to stay away at the store. Such a bad example for kids if she doesn’t know customer service she should just quit that job because she is showing bad attitude to the kids.
Never again | by George on Mar 19, 2021
First off I'd like to say I live far nw Calgary bab in crossiron was closed down probably due to slow business.....I drove to chinook mall today and was told at the door I had to buy a mask for my 2yr old that definitely wouldnt wear a mask. They didn't want him walking around the store with no mask a 2yr old infant so i offered to hold him the whole time and one of the miserable staff that i could tell by her rudeness doesn't even like children not sure why shes even employed there refused to let us in. I can tell you I will never take any of my children to support your business again

Terrible Service | by Megan Douglas on Feb 14, 2021
On February 14th we took our daughter to build a bear and right when we got there Courtney (the lady working the door) told us our 2 year old daughter needed a mask before entrance, so no problem, we went and bought her one! We go back, get in line and Courtney starts telling customers to stand in front of us, so I go and ask Courtney why people are being allowed ahead of us when we got there first and she told us the wait line was too full and told us to wait 20 minutes by Kernels, so we go over and wait, while we’re waiting we notice people going in line with no problem. My fiancé goes over and asks why we’re being told to wait over there when she’s still allowing people in line with no problem, Courtney says “we don’t hold spots” my fiancé then says “Well why would you tell us to wait over there but yet allow all these people in?” And she didn’t say anything. She was very unprofessional and we are very disappointed with this service, we will not be returning and you lost our service! I hope management takes this review seriously.
