All the familiar names are there but these are very obviously Canadianized versions of Finnish recipes. Cinnamon rolls are bland, no pearl sugar and folded like an American bun, cardamom cookies are explosively spicy and pulla is dry. Tastes mass produced without any kind of European soul. These are not your grandmother’s baking and there is definitely room for improvement.
