The construction of a new shopping center, to which thousands of people will surely find a way, is a matter of Ivanhoe Cambridge. In summer 2015 the company decided that it is the right time to start construction work on the shopping center in order to have it done in May 2017. Can you guess what the cost of this project is? It certainly is not a small sum; the construction will cost $200 million.
After Outlet Collection at Niagara, which opened in May 2014, Outlet Collection Winnipeg will be second purely outlet center built by Ivanhoe Cambridge. But certainly not the last - in the second half of 2017, the company plans to open an outlet center at Edmonton International Airport.
Outlet Collection Winnipeg will be spread over 400,000 square foot, and it will have more than 100 brand-name stores. In December, Ivanhoe Cambridge introduced the first list of stores that will be in this outlet center - on the list is for example Adidas, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, DKNY or Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. And where will be this new outlet centers build? It will go up within the northwest quadrant of Kenaston Boulevard and Sterling Lyon Parkway.
