New mall will be a great chance for growth of local economy and retail industry to skyrocket. The opening will take place at the corner of Kenaston Boulevard and Sterling Lyon Parkway and there will be more than 100 retailers waiting for you to check them out.
Some of them are more than familiar to all of us, yet, there will be newcomers too - Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW), Under Armour, Banana Republic Factory Store, Samsonite Outlet and Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5T.
Although it seems like it’s going to be more fashion to explore than you can even imagine, it’s good to know there is more to go in fall. Some of the retailers like F21 Red, Winners and the Rockport and Michael Kors outlet stores, will be available to customers in September.
Management of the project are very proud of the fact that opening of this outlet will create job positions for more than 1,300 people working full and part-time and for new 400 construction workers too.
It has been announced that the outlet will have warm natural interior touch, innovative day-lighting strategies and materials to create a unique and exciting shopping and dining environment.
When asked about online shopping challenges today, management of this project say they don’t see it as a threat. They strongly believe people still want to touch and feel the product, try it on and if you provide an enjoyable environment for that, the success is inevitable. Online allows people to review product and price check and be interactive, so all of that makes the shopping easier.

Once it is opened Outlet Collection Winnipeg will have: 400,000 square feet of leasable retail space, 100 retailers at full capacity, six anchor tenants: Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, Old Navy, F21 Red, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, Nike, Winners, 15 food concession retailers, including Bar Burrito, Freshly Squeezed, Starbucks and Sticky's Candy, 2,300 parking spaces, 80 bicycle parking spaces, as well as 1,300 full-time and part-time retail jobs created, plus 400 construction-related jobs.
